myWaves FAQ

No, the slow waves we are trying to capture happen at the beginning of sleep so even if you only have 2-3 hours of sleep, we should be able to find good waves. It is better, however to have more than 6 hours of sleep.

The Pebble’s light will turn off 3 minutes after you start the recording.

We have clinically tested a group from 20-60 years old but it should be effective for any age.
We do not suggest to record a baby’s yet until we do clinical testing on this age.

This is not a sleeping pill. This sound also will not help you if you have physical issues disturbing your sleep like sleep apnea or leg twitching.
We recommend you to go to a sleep clinic for a review and possible solutions to these two areas.

We found in the clinical study that by listening to your personalized sound for only 30 minutes, the affect lasted the full sleep cycle and increased the REM sleep for a better quality of sleep.

We found in the clinical study that more than 75% of the people could identify their sounds. We also saw in the clinical study that their sleep did not improve when listening to other sounds that were not personalized using their own brainwaves.

To clean the Pebble, gently wipe it with a dry cloth. Avoid moisture and store it in a cool, dry place when not in use to maintain longevity and optimal performance.

We recommend re-recording your sleep waves with the Pebble every 4 months, or if you experience changes in your sleep patterns, to maintain the efficacy of your personalized sound sequences.

Yes, the Pebble is travel-friendly. For optimal results, continue to use it consistently, adjusting the volume for different environments as needed.

For public transportation, ensure your Pebble is fully charged, and consider using noise-cancelling headphones to focus on your personalized sleep sounds amidst the noise.

The Pebble is safe for general use, but consult with a medical professional if you have health conditions that may be affected by audio devices.
