Device Syncing and Troubleshooting
NOT TO USE : Syncing Your Device with the App
To ensure your device and app are synchronized properly, follow these steps:
- Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled: On your device, turn on Bluetooth. Make sure the device is within range of your smartphone or tablet.
- Open the myWaves App: Launch the app and go to the ‘Devices’ section.
- Pair Your Device: Select ‘Add New Device’ and choose your device from the list of available devices. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing.
Troubleshooting Common Syncing Issues
If you encounter issues while syncing your device, try the following steps:
- Check Bluetooth Connection: Ensure that Bluetooth is not only on but also not already connected to another device which might be interfering.
- Restart Your Device and App: Sometimes, simply restarting your device and the myWaves app can resolve connectivity issues.
- Re-pair Your Device: Unpair the device from your phone’s Bluetooth settings and then pair it again using the myWaves ap

No, the slow waves we are trying to capture happen at the beginning of sleep so even if you only have 2-3 hours of sleep, we should be able to find good waves. It is better, however to have more than 6 hours of sleep.
The Pebble’s light will turn off 3 minutes after you start the recording.
We have clinically tested a group from 20-60 years old but it should be effective for any age.
